I do have some small things to criticise, but the watch is very solid overall and dies what it should
I got the pedometer watch to replace my phone at work, since Ionky useit to look at the date and time and count steps. The watch looks nice, runs correctlyand is mostly well readable. If viewed at an angle its not readable. It is readable at night though, since it has a built in light.
The alarm and count down timer work very well, although the alarm could belouder, though that is personal. The hourly chime works nicely as well, though its not very useful to me.
The pedometer itself is alright if you want a rough overview, but thats it sadly. It may be alright if you never use you hands but I wouldn't know. I've tried it on days where I don't work and it was still about 2k off from my other pedometers ( I used two others to verify). I don't mind that much to be honest, since I will just compare the steps counted with other steps counted by the watch.
One thing that I do genuinely miss though is the function to pause counting steps. I work in a larger store, occasionally I have to work a register wäre i usw my hands a lot. With this pedometer I averageabout 1k steps per half hour of working a register. Its understandable but annoying. Same thing when I knit. I don't want to keep taking the watch on and off constantly.
I also don't like that theres no leather straps. Due to skin issues I.ant to the silicone or metal, so I picked the fabric. However within a week the fabric has gone from a nice black to a dark grey. It gets gross as you look closer. Will definitely replace the band. However the wat the bank closes is very nice and the wat its connected to the watch itself is genius too. Very easy to remove and change out without tools
It does exactly what I wanted it to do and more
I love having a watch that is not connected to my phone. I have enough emf around me all day. The steps are accurate and the face is easy to read. For me it's not intuitive in the settings and I'm not a good detail memorizer so I can look up the settings and hopefully get to know how to make the time change easier. That one is on me.
It is a great watch. Easy to read and comfortable to wear.
My wife and I have been looking for a watch for months. We could not afford or need the expensive health watches. We wanted a watch that told the date and time and steps taken. We did not want a watch that you have to pull the stem part way out to change the date on the months with 28 or 31 days, I have put a couple of them in the trash because the stem pulls out. The wrist band is very comfortable and easy to adjust. The face is easy to read. In less than a month, I have ordered a Hearkent for myself..
