Got this for an elderly family member - she loves it. The voice is male, so it's easier for her to hear it. Does not have a volume control, which would have been nice. Otherwise, it looks good and works good.
Got this for my MIL, she is in her upper 80s and her vision is not great. The daily face is large and the numbers are easy to read. She loves that the watch will read the time to her. She told me she uses it while in bed, she can't clearly see the bedroom clock so this function is very helpful.
As an old woman with limited sight she can sometimes see the bright number, but love it to talk the time
The Hearkent Talking Watch could be handy for someone with limited or no vision. I am having some vision issues and thought it would be nice to be able to hear what time it was.The watch itself is very basic. It is more utilitarian than nice looking. It is not overly attractive. But it gets done what it needs to. The expansion band is not very big. I don't have overly large wrists, about 7" and it is very tight on me. It does come with another strap that has a buckle. The voice that announces the time, or the date, is not adjustable. The voice is not very loud. If a person was deaf and blind this probably wouldn't work for them. I am glad that the voice is not obnoxiously loud, but some people may not find it loud enough. It is an atomic watch, so if you put it into the correct time zone the watch will set itself. It is fun watching the hands spin around the clock to get to the right time.
